Four years after the last edition, Glasstec will be held again in Düsseldorf (Germany) from 20th to 23rd September. The main international exhibition dedicated to the glass sector will be the perfect stage to reveal the latest innovations from the ScreenLine world, including new application and control options for motorised blind systems and a new type of shading solution expressly developed for integral blinds.
In 1992, Francesco Pellini went beyond the shading systems available at that time by filing a patent for the first ScreenLine system. 30 years later, the same spirit is still motivating Pellini’s R&D Department, whose efforts will make it possible to present, as a world premiere at Glasstec 2022, the prototype of a new shading solution that will complement the ones currently available for ScreenLine systems (i.e. Venetian, Roller and Pleated/Pleated blackout).
Wave is the innovative integrated shading solution for ScreenLine systems consisting of a thin wave film (only 23 microns) made of polyester that can be incorporated within 20-mm or 22-mm insulating glass units. The polyester film is a synthesis of stylishness and performance: its horizontal wave geometry gives a pleasant aesthetic impact, the PVD coating reduces the solar factor and increases thermal insulation and, when the blind is completely lowered, protects effectively from solar gains and prying eyes from the outside.
From a new shading solution to a new way of controlling blinds: ScreenLine Wise, another world premiere, is the clever system to manage integral blinds, an ecosystem of solutions allowing the control of blinds even with a smartphone, remotely or locally.
To move the blinds to the desired position, the commands are sent from the App to the Wise Hub which, in turn, transfers them to the ScreenLine actuators. Besides the App, it is also possible to send commands via the new remote control (Wise Control), which can operate the blinds even when the Wise Hub is not available.
ScreenLine Wise is a completely wireless system that stores all the information in the cloud to make it accessible at any time and in which the ScreenLine by Pellini experience in the automation of integral blinds and the total integration between hardware and control logic results in accuracy and user-friendliness. It is also possible to upload pictures of different buildings, rooms or blinds to easily identify the ones to operate.
ScreenCloud is a motorised venetian blind with tilt-only function specially developed for slope applications (from 0° to 90°) like winter gardens, verandas, skylights and glass roofs of different kinds: the slats shield the solar radiation and the natural light enters evenly, ensuring living comfort, energy saving and view through with the outside.
The combination of sun tracking, motorisation and intelligent electronic ensures the best protection at any time.
These are just some of the innovations, which also include the thinnest blackout blinds in the market, ScreenView, the new integrated blind system for vision panels, or the new motorised systems for 16-mm integrated blinds, which will be unveiled at Pellini’s stand (Hall 11 - 11B60).
