Roller Blind in Insulating Glass Unit

ScreenLine® SL27 Roller is a new magnetic system that allows a roller blind to be raised inside an insulating glass unit with a 27 mm cavity, while maintaining total airtightness. It is available in two models: ScreenLine® SL27C Roller, with manual cord operation, and ScreenLine® SL27C External Motor, with external motor operation.

In the ScreenLine® SL27C Roller model, the motion generated by the user through the magnetic cord control applied to the glass is transmitted to an internal magnetic device housed in the headrail, which in turn transfers it to two corner gears incorporated into the side spacers and from there to the roller tube onto which the fabric winds.

The ScreenLine® SL27C Roller External Motor model, instead, features the installation of an external motor acting on the blind in a similar way.

The perfect integration of the operating mechanisms into the perimeter surface of the system makes full use of the available glass area for light entry when the blind is rolled up. Conversely, a special cover profile, together with the side spacers, ensures smooth bottom bar sliding for complete closure of the blind while minimizing light infiltration.

The Verosol® fabrics used, with “Three chambers” aluminum coating, are available in transparent, semi-transparent, and blackout versions, allowing light transmission reduction down to 3%.

ScreenLine® SL27 Roller is therefore ideally suited for environments such as hotel rooms, projection halls, hospital clinics, laboratories, and other settings where periodic blocking of sunlight, combined with absolute hygiene and zero maintenance, is required.

The insulating properties of the glass unit and the blackout qualities of the roller blind make the system a valid replacement for shutters, external blinds, or window panels, while also reducing building construction costs.
