Pellini was born in Codogno (LO) as a family-run artisan business that produced Venetian blinds, folding doors, screens, and awnings.

A commitment that has continued since 1974 through the development and production of solar shading solutions that contribute to residential comfort and the energy efficiency of buildings, to positively impact the well-being of people and the environment.

Pellini was born in Codogno (LO) as a family-run artisan business that produced Venetian blinds, folding doors, screens, and awnings.

The collaboration begins with a multinational leader in the production of interior Venetian blinds, allowing the company to break free from a previously strictly local market and emerge on the national scene.

The design of an integrated system for an insulating glass unit begins, to allow for the movement and lifting of a blind placed inside it without resorting to drilling the glass.

The first ScreenLine® system is born, in which the movement is transmitted via the rotary motion of a pair of magnets, one inside and the other outside the insulating glass unit.

Thanks to the second ScreenLine patent, Pellini becomes the first company to completely raise a curtain inside an insulating glass unit. It was therefore decided to dedicate all energy to the design of the increasingly refined new ScreenLine systems and of increasingly high-performance technical curtains for interiors.

The establishment of a global network of licensees is launched, with the goal of promoting ScreenLine products through production units located on all continents.

In Brazil, the Cidade Administrativa Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte is completed. Designed by the internationally renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer, with its approximately 22,000 window blinds, it becomes the construction with the highest number of glass-facade blinds.

Pellini CZ is founded, a Pellini production unit in the Czech Republic, with the aim of increasing production capacity and meeting the growing demand for ScreenLine systems.

From the union of expertise in the world of glass, Finglas is born, the glassworks with headquarters in Trento and a production unit in Badia Polesine (RO), created to offer state-of-the-art integrated glass-shielding solutions dedicated to modern architecture.

The Codogno site is expanded with the creation of new spaces to improve collaboration and coordination among Research and Development, Pellini Lab, Marketing, and Production.

Idea Plastica is acquired, a company specialized in plastic components for the production of ScreenLine insulating glass shades and in the distribution of sealants used for the production and assembly of insulating glass and windows.

We look to the future with curiosity, proud of our past, ready to face with enthusiasm and passion every moment and every project that the next 50 years will hold for us.
