The awning is raised and adjusted by a 3.6V DC electric motor inside the cassette, powered by a rechargeable battery located in the control unit (battery module), which can be mounted on the glass or window frame.
The battery module includes a radio receiver as standard, allowing the awning to be controlled via remote control (optional). The battery can be powered by a micro USB charger or by an optional amorphous silicon solar module, which can be mounted on the glass or window frame.
