Pellini roller blinds for Triennale Milano

Shading and blackout fabrics: double motorized roller blind for each window

38 motorized roller blinds for 19 windows: the double blinds installed for each of the large windows that characterize the "curve" of the Triennale which directly overlooks Parco Sempione and Castello Sforzesco, represents the solution identified to optimize the internal light conditions based on the activities scheduled in this area of the Triennale.

In the niche above each window there are two paired roller blinds, one equipped with Santiago blackout fabric and one with Screen Essential 3005 shading fabric, both approximately 6.5 meters high: the ability of the blackout fabric to completely prevent the passage of light up to 100,000 lux allows to darken the interiors and create the perfect set for events or photo shoots, while the shading fabric offers protection from glare and overheating to guarantee comfort for visitors, while ensuring visual contact with the outside, an important aspect given the unique context in which Triennale is inserted.

In addition to the function of regulating internal brightness, the blinds installed will play a valuable role in the protection of works and documents that will be exhibited starting with the exhibition “Roberto Sambonet. The theory of form", which pays homage to the artist in the centenary year of his birth. Works, drawings, paintings and documents, mostly unpublished, are on display on the first floor of the Triennale until 8 September, on the occasion of an exhibition that Pellini is pleased to support in consideration of the artist's contribution in design and architecture.
