The fabric, suitable to directly control glare and overheating, is coupled into the winding tube and the blind’s raising and lowering function (consequently, the winding and unwinding movement of the fabric around the tube), are easily controlled by manual or motorised drive systems, which allow the blind to be stopped in any position. The aluminium bottom rail keeps the fabric stable, tensioned and fold-free.

In motorised roller systems for interiors, the blind is raised and lowered by an extremely silent and reliable 24V or 230V motor that can be operated via wall buttons or BMS networks, thus allowing even a high number of blinds to be controlled automatically and synchronously.
The engineering refinement of the hardware developed by Pellini enables users to operate a manual roller blind with smooth, quick and accurate movements in all the different drive systems available, e.g. spring, cord, chain, etc.
The shading function is performed by the fabrics which, notably in the Verosol metallised range, blend aesthetics and technical performance by reducing the amount of incoming energy and, through a combination of colours, openness factors, solar reflection rates, etc., meet every need in terms of energy and glare protection, privacy and view through.
Manual skills and new technologies meet in fabric processing: based on the client's requirements and the type of material chosen, the fabrics are processed manually or through laser, cold- or ultrasonic cutting machines.
Shading roller blinds allow part of the solar radiation to filter through the fabric weave and light up the rooms even when the blind is lowered. The special characteristics of shading fabrics reduce the glare effect and evenly diffuse the light indoors, thus improving thermal and visual comfort and reducing the use of artificial lighting, ensuring at the same time the occupants’ privacy.
